Is MealCircle really free right now?
Yes — you can start free with no card and no trial clock. Paid plans add team seats and clinic-level analytics as you grow, and founding members lock in a founding rate.
What counts as an active patient?
A patient who has logged at least one meal in the past 30 days. Inactive patients don’t count against your limit.
Can I change plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect immediately and billing is prorated.
Do I pay per patient or per provider?
You pay per provider. Patients are always free. Solo comes with one provider seat and up to 30 active patients.
Is the HIPAA BAA included?
A BAA is available on Practice plans (on request) and included on all Clinic plans. Solo does not include a BAA.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is yours. We export all your patient data in standard formats on cancellation, and retain encrypted backups for 30 days before permanent deletion.
