Useful guidance needs visible evidence.
How we research software comparisons, handle product disclosures, update changing facts, and separate operational guidance from clinical advice.
Who writes MealCircle articles
Product and practice-operations articles may be written by the MealCircle team or a named team member with direct knowledge of the workflow being discussed. We identify the author on every article. When content makes clinical recommendations, we seek review from an appropriately qualified professional and name that reviewer when review has occurred.
MealCircle content is educational. It does not replace clinical judgment, legal advice, or compliance advice.
How we evaluate software
MealCircle publishes software comparisons while also selling nutrition practice software. We disclose that conflict clearly. Our comparisons are designed to explain fit, not to claim that one platform is universally best.
For comparison articles, we prioritize official vendor pricing, product, security, help-center, and app-store pages. We record when facts were checked, link the primary sources, distinguish monthly from annual pricing, and note when a feature requires a specific plan or add-on.
Where direct product access is unavailable, we say that the assessment is based on public documentation. We do not present marketing claims or third-party reviews as independently verified outcomes.
Security and HIPAA language
HIPAA compliance depends on both the vendor and the healthcare practice. We distinguish between a vendor's public compliance claim, availability of a Business Associate Agreement, independent certification, and the practitioner's own responsibilities. Readers should confirm current contract terms directly with the vendor before storing protected health information.
Updates and corrections
Software pricing and features change frequently. Comparison articles show a fact-checked date and should be reviewed at least every 90 days. Material corrections update the article's modified date. If you find an error, email support@mealcircle.co with the article URL and supporting source.
Original MealCircle evidence
We publish product or customer metrics only when the underlying data can be verified and explained. Any analysis should describe the population, time period, calculation method, exclusions, and privacy protections. We do not invent statistics or imply that a small sample represents every nutrition practice.
